Here’s mine. When a friend needed cataract surgery in her 30’s, I attributed her need for surgery at a relatively young age to her microwave. I distrusted this appliance so much, that I assumed that waves of energy bombarded her tender eyes each time she opened the door to retrieve a nuked food item, cooking not only her food but also the lens of her eye.
