The Comfort of a Cheesy Omlet


Recognizing that Laura’s recent social difficulties in Pre-K will ruin his golf game come Sunday, Thom picks up the phone to call Elliot Jensen. The phone rings twice before Thom hangs up. What do I say specifically, he wonders. Your bratty entitled daughter is being mean to my Laura? That’s what he wants to say. It would alleviate the knot growing in his stomach. Instead, he whips up a cheesy omelet and serves it Laura with extra ketchup just the way she likes it.
